Rashtrapati Niwas : This was formerly the residence with the British Viceroy. The large, fortress like building has six storeys and wonderful reception and eating halls. Set in beautiful gardens, it now houses the Institute of Sophisticated Studies.

Jakhu Hanuman Temple : Your tour to Shimla cannot total without going to Jakhu Hill. The temple is in the leading of your Jakhu hill, that is the highest stage in the city. The temple is just 2 kms from the ridge but if you are not used to mountain climbing, it can be a one-hour stroll. It delivers a fantastic view of the town and snow capped peaks.
